Born in the Bay Area, California, Dominique Moon is a multi-disciplinary artist and dancer. She is a cultivator of sensuality whose work integrates the erotic and the shadows.

Visual Artist
As a portrait artist, Dominique works primarily in charcoal, exploring the many faces of the Dark Mother. Through her art she invokes the mother, the eroticist, the monstrous woman, and the figure who “lifts her skirt to cure depression.” Each portrait becomes a ritual of unveiling, a meditation on feminine power, shadow, and liberation.

Egyptian Style Bellydance Performer
With nine years as a professional Egyptian-style belly dance performer, Dominique is rooted in Egyptian baladi. Over time, she developed a powerfully intimate relationship with her body through traditional North African music. She has studied with the iconic Egyptian dancer Dandash and received intensive mentorship from esteemed artist and teacher Ranya Renee. This foundation continues to blossom and be a balm.

Burlesque Performer
Dominique’s burlesque work is rooted in the mysteries of the divine feminine. With a framework shaped by North African and Egyptian music, and its diaspora the Blues.

She is celebrated for sacred sensuality and luscious, honeyed hips.

Dominique embodiment of sensual conjure.
