Based out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Dominique Moon is a sensual multidisciplinary artist working across Egyptian dance, burlesque, and visual art. Also known as Red Holy Waters, her work is guided by the sensuality of ancestral memory with the exaltation of Divine Femininity.
With over nine years of experience in traditional Egyptian dance recognized as baladi, Dominique moves from surrender and erotic embodiment.
In May 2025, she ventured in the world of burlesque. Dominique centers the erotic through the blues as an aspect of conjure.
A lifelong visual artist, Dominique began drawing portraits in 2009. Working primarily in charcoal, she in creates intimacy in the many faces of the Ancestral Mothers by incorporating materials such as lace and flora. Her work centers sensuality and emotional embodiment by exploring the marginalized edges of femaleness — the profane and sexuality.
Across all mediums, Dominique channels emotional and spiritual states through her body to reclaim its inherent wisdom for both personal and collective healing.
Pleasure is her home.
