Born on Suisune land - in the Bay Area, California, Dominique Moon is a creatrix. She is a multi-disciplinary artist and healer. Dominique is a cultivator of sensuality with a special focus around the divine feminine mysteries.

As a portrait artist, Dominique works primarily in charcoal, exploring the many faces of the Dark Mother. Through her art she invokes a variety of her roads - the mother,
the eroticist, the monstrous woman, and the raunchy one who “lifts her skirt to cure depression.”
Each portrait captures the spirit of the subject, producing a liberatory emotional response from the onlooker.
With nine years as a professional Egyptian-style belly dance performer and burlesque performer, Dominique is rooted in Egyptian baladi (the roots of Egyptian bellydance). Over time, she developed a powerfully intimate relationship with her body through traditional North African music. She has studied with the iconic Egyptian dancer Dandash and received intensive mentorship from esteemed belly dance artist Ranya Renee. Dominique’s burlesque work is shaped by North African and Egyptian music, and its diaspora the Blues. She is admired for her fluid sensuality and the articulation of her honeyed hips. Dominique is the high priestess of juiciness.
Pleasure is her home. Informed by ancestral wisdom and the spirits of the land,
Dominique is the embodiment of the divine feminine.

Dominique currently resides on Occaneechi land in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
